Z-Finance is a financial tool that keeps up with your fast-paced lifestyle. With Z-Finance, the vital information you often need about your accounts is always at your fingertips. You can track all your transactions, establish budgets, find specific transactions, analyze your spending patterns, and create reports and graphs.

  • Z-Finance is Quicken compatible, enabling you to import and export data with Quicken via QIF files.

  • Setting up accounts - create five different account, including checking, savings, and credit cards.

  • Establish budget categories - Z-Finance allows you to define 32 budget categories with which you may work. These are customized to fit your lifestyle. Typical categories are travel, meals, parking, rent or mortgage, groceries, and utilities.

  • Entering transactions - download from Quicken account information with which you already are working. Enter transactions by touching the New Entry button on your keyboard.

  • Enter regularly scheduled transfers automatically. Using the transfer screen, you enter the transaction, and Z-Finance will automatically post them to your account ledger with the Update Transfer utility.

  • There are three powerful verification tools in this program - Reconcile, Auto-Balance, and Summarize.

    1. Reconcile allows you to compare the statement from your financial institution with the data in Z-Finance to ensure your account is balanced.
    2. Auto-Balanced will help to find the discrepancy, if your statement and reconciliation do not match.
    3. Summarize lets you consolidate all the cleared transactions into one, space-saving entry.

  • Track spending trends by using the three different graphing options:

    1. 1-Month Balance: A line graph of your balance for a specific month you select.
    2. 6-Month Balance: A line graph of your balance for a 6 month period.
    3. 6-Month Budget Graph: A bar graph that shows spending for up to four separate budget categories.
