Creating a New Stack

You can create your own stack of flash cards on the Zaurus, or use the PC Flashcard program (see page 19.)

Creating a New Stack on Your Zaurus

1. Touch the EDIT icon at the top of the screen. From the Edit menu, choose New Stack.

2. Type the name of the new stack and press ENTER on your keyboard. The new stack will be highlighted on the title screen.

3. Touch the VIEWS icon at the top of the screen. From the Views menu, choose Index.

4. Press NEW ENTRY on your keyboard. Type in the information for Side A of the card. When you are finished, press the key or touch the bottom text box to type in the information for Side B of the card. When you are done, press ENTER.

5. Repeat Step 4 until you have created all the cards for the new stack.

TIP: If you are entering the same words on many cards, you can save time by using the COPY/PASTE function. Highlight the repeated information by swiping your touch pen across it. Press 2ND-C on your keyboard to copy the highlighted words to the Zaurus clipboard. Then press 2ND-V every time you wish to paste the words from the clipboard.
