Tagging Entries

Tagging entries is a method of selecting multiple entries you wish to track specifically. These entries can then be totalled (by amount) or deleted.

How to use the tagging function

1. To tag an entry, touch {TAG icon} and select (Un)Tag Selected Entry.

This can also be done by pressing SPACE on the Zaurus keyboard, and simply touching the TAG box next to the item you wish to tag or un-tag (this is much quicker and worth mentioning).

2. Repeat step 1 for all the entries you wish to tag.

3. To get a cumulative balance of all the tagged entries, select Total Tagged (All) from the TAG menu. To add up only the tagged entries listed in the displayed month's ledger, select Total Tagged (Month).

4. To delete all tagged entries, select Delete Tagged Entries.

WARNING: You may have tagged entries NOT in the current month which will not be on display. Be careful when using this function.

5. To remove the tag from an entry, select (Un)Tag Selected Entry. To remove all the tags in your ledgers, select Clear All Tags.
