Setting Up Accounts

Z-FINANCE allows you to keep track of up to 5 different checking and savings accounts to track all your business and personal spending. Before entering transactions, you will want to set up each account by naming it and entering the starting balance.

How to set up new accounts

Every time you open Z-FINANCE, the main Account screen will be displayed. At the upper left of the screen is the word Show: followed by a menu box that displays the current active account.

To open your first account:

1. Touch {Setup icon}

2. Swipe across the Account Name box to highlight the text, then press DEL.

It is not a requirement to press DEL, you can begin typing and the account name will be deleted anyway.

3. Type in the name of the account.

4 Swipe across the Start Balance box to highlight the text, then press DEL.

See comment on page 10. Additional: pressing DEL after swipe highlights a bug which I should be able to fix.

5. Type in the opening balance.

6. Touch Done.

To open additional accounts:

7. Touch the Show: menu box to display the list of accounts.

8. Touch an account line you have not already named. The ledger sheet for the account you selected will appear on the screen.

9. Repeat steps 1-6 above for each account you have.
