The backup feature allows you to copy everything from the Zaurus onto the PC hard drive. The backup stores all the common data on the Zaurus.

Select the folder in which you want to save the backup file.

Enter the name of the backup file.

Select whether to backup the Zaurus main memory or card memory into the backup file.

Select to Lock the file if you want to assign the backup a password. If you lock the backup, the password supplied here will be required when a restore is done.

In the event of data loss, the restore feature can put your data back on the Zaurus. If you have performed a backup use the restore feature to restore the backed up data to the Zaurus.

When a backup is performed, the user may lock the backup file, entering a lock password. This screen appears when a locked file is restored . You must supply the password with which this backup file was locked.
