¨ Backing Up Data

You can backup all your Zaurus data stored in its main memory to a file on your PC. This includes all applications, notes, documents, etc. On the Backup screen, choose the folder in which you wish to store the file (e.g., SynchroLynx). Then type the name of the file in the dialogue box at the bottom of the Backup screen. The file will be created with a ZBK extension.

¨ Restoring Data

Backed up data files can be restored to your Zaurus from your PC. On the Restore screen, choose the folder in which the file is stored (e.g., SynchroLynx). Then type the name of the file in the dialogue box at the bottom of the Restore screen. SynchroLynx will restore the files that have a ZBK extension.

Note: This function will overwrite the existing data in the Zaurus.
