¨ Importing

Importing brings data into Schedule+ from your Zaurus by either appending or overwriting it. (Append or overwrite mode may be set on the Personalize Settings screen.) With the Import screen, you can choose the data (Contacts, Appointments, or To Do's) to import into Schedule+ by selecting the proper check boxes. If you are importing Contacts, change the From box next to Contacts to let SynchroLynx know which Zaurus file to import. For example, if you wish to import into Schedule+ the name and address of a business associate that you entered into your Zaurus, select Import and check Contacts. Then select Business in the combo box next to Contacts. SynchroLynx will update Schedule+ with all new Zaurus Business Contacts .

You may also change your date range, map fields, and personalize settings under SynchroLynx's Import function. The Select Range screen allows you to choose a range of dates through which all Appointments and To Do's will be imported to Schedule+ (e.g., this week). The date range can be selected by clicking the radio button next to the desired range.

You can modify field maps and personalize settings by following the same steps outlined under the Synchronize pulldown option on the main menu (see the Synchronizing Information section of this manual, or consult the online help file).

Exporting brings data to the Zaurus from Schedule+ by either appending it or overwriting it. (Append or overwrite mode may be set on the Personalize Settings screen.) With the Export screen, you can choose the data (Contacts, Appointments, or To Do's) to export to the Zaurus by selecting the proper check boxes. If you are exporting Contacts, change the combo box next to Contacts to let SynchroLynx know into which Zaurus file you wish to export data. For example, if you wish to export to your Zaurus an appointment that you entered into Schedule+, select Export and then check the Appointments box. SynchroLynx will update your Zaurus with all new Appointment information.
