When editing a Time-based file, select the Activities button from the Main Toolbar to display the Activities Window. This shows details of all events Calendar, Timed Events and Daily Events To change the month displayed on the Calendar, click the month tab at the top of the screen. To change the year displayed, click the arrows to the left and right of the calendar. Click on the Today button to display today. Dates on which activities have been scheduled are highlighted with an asterisk. To see the events for that date, click that date on the calendar. They will appear in the Timed Events and Daily Events lists. To go to an activity, click on its listing in the Time or Daily events list. To delete an activity — in either the Time or Daily events lists, select the activity you want to delete, then click on Delete. Adding Events When adding new events in the Schedule/Appointments or To Do applications, you can select a date from a pop-up calendar. The calendar view allows you to view other events for a given day, so that you can avoid conflicts. The Weekly Graph The graph displays all your appointments for the current week. Each horizontal bar shows the time of an appointment and its duration. The selected appointment (if any) within the Time or Daily lists is highlighted with diagonal shading. You can see all the events for any day on the graph by clicking on that row. You can highlight a new event by clicking on it. Rescheduling an event by moving it on the graph 1. In either the Time or Daily events list, select the event that you want to reschedule. You will see that event highlighted on the Weekly Graph. 2. Now click and drag the event to the desired new time. Release the 3. The Move Event window will appear asking you confirm the new time for the event. Note that at this point you can change the date, time, duration and description of the event. The Move Event window will not appear if it has been disabled in File / Preferences / Day. Note: You can also highlight the event and click Move to type in the new time and date. Functions Snap to XX Intervals — When this item is enabled, events on the graph that are dragged from one position to another will snap to the beginning of the nearest time slot. The length of each time slot (XX) is defined in File / Preferences / Day.Working Day (XX:XX to XX:XX) — When enabled, an appointment being dragged to a new position cannot be dropped outside the Working day as defined in File / Preferences / Day. Include Weekends — When not enabled, an appointment being dragged to a new position can not be dropped onto a weekend. Revising the Time Manager You can change which applications the Time Manager checks for clashes by clicking Filter. This will display the Dependencies dialog allowing you to change these options.
