Chapter 6 explained the general rules for using Rupplynx applications. Some applications like To Do and Outline have additional functions that work somewhat differently. To Do Application — Adding, Deleting or Changing Categories (Labels) In the Zaurus, each To Do record can have up to 5 assigned categories or labels. After you transfer this file to your PC, these categories are always on display in the RuppLynx To Do application, along with the other field data. To add or change a category: Double click in the category field (1-5) that you want to add to or change. Now press any key. The To Do Categories dialog will be displayed. Use this window to change the category of the field or add/delete categories to the list. You can also edit category names. Outline Application The Outline Toolbar looks very different from the other toolbars. Here is what each button on this toolbar does: Expand Topics — expands all topics from single line view to multi-line view. Click again to collapse all topics back to single line view. Expand Family — expands the current family. Click again to collapse. Expand All Families — expands the outline view to show all families. Collapse All Families — collapses the outline view to show only Edit Topic — allows you to edit the highlighted topic. Insert Topic — a blank topic will appear where the cursor is pointed. Move Topic — moves the highlighted topic. Follow on-screen instructions. Split Topic — allows you to split the current topic into 2 topics. Join Topics — the current topic and the topic previous to it will be highlighted. The 2 topics can then be merged. Notebook Editor (0Z-95XX / 0Z-9600 / 0Z-65XX Organizers Only) To edit notebook files, start a new file and type in text as normal. You will notice that text is wrapped to the width of the Notebook Editor window. You can size the window to change the display on the PC, however text will be formatted to the actual page settings once it has been sent back to the Page Settings Click the Page Settings button to bring up a window allowing you to set or adjust the note title, word wrap, margins and tab settings. The margin settings are used when printing, or when the file is sent back to your unit. They are not reflected on screen. Use the B, I, and U buttons to change highlighted text to Bold, Italics or Underline. You can highlight text by holding down your left mouse button and dragging the cursor over it.
