How to Restore a Backup File

If something should happen to your hand-held unit that erases your data, you can decompress your backup file and transfer the data to your hand-held unit.

Note: restoring a backup overwrites all data on your unit.

1. From the Main Toolbar, click the Transfer Files button. Make sure your unit is properly connected and in PC Link Mode (if applicable). If you have not already used Link Setup, do so now
(see page 12).

2. Click the Restore button at the bottom of the screen. A window will appear requesting you to specify which Backup File to use. Select a file, then click OK.

3. Any existing data in your unit will be replaced by the data stored in your Backup File.
