File Tools works much like the "File Manager" in Windows 3.1, allowing you to manage the files on your PC without leaving RuppLynx. You can launch File Tools from the Task Manager by clicking on the Window menu and selecting Task Manager.General Use The File Tools window consists of 2 lists. The list on the left shows directories in the current drive path. Use the drive buttons to change from one drive to another. Simply click on the required drive. Use the arrow at the top of the list (if it appears) to move toward the root directory. To open a directory, double click on it. The list on the right shows all files in the open directory. Select the required directory in the directories list. The path will then change to that directory. Both the directories and files lists are updated to show files in the new path. File Functions All File Tools functions are accessed from the Application Toolbar, and are performed on a selection of one or more files. Selecting Files 1.
