You can print your RuppLynx data to any installed Windows printer. To do this: 1. Open the Application that contains the data you want to print. 2. Click Print on the toolbar. 3. The Print Organizer window appears. From here, you can choose to print All the records, the currently Selected record, or a Partial range of records. 4. Next, select the Print Quality, number of Copies, whether or not to Print picture fields, whether or not to print Tagged Entries Only, and whether or not to Ignore secret entries. 5. Click Setup to choose the Printer, page Orientation, and Paper Size and Source. If you are not offered the choice you need from any of these menus, click Options for more possibilities. When you have completed the Setup window, click OK. 6. From the Print Organizer window, click OK to print. Printing with Program Modules RuppLynx Program Modules are available which allow you to print your data in a variety of formats, such as reports or labels. For information on all available Program Modules, call Rupp Technology.To print your data using a Program Module: 1. Open the Application that contains the data you want to print. 2. From the File menu, select Send to. The Send To window appears and displays any available print modules. 3. Highlight the module you want to use. (Example: Report Generator). 4. The module menu allows you to specify exactly how your data will appear. Click OK to print. Printing Directly From Your Unit RuppLynx has a Print Through feature that lets you print directly from your hand-held unit to any supported printer via your PC and an IR unit. (You cannot use this feature with a cable link.) This means you don’t have to buy any special interface cables or expensive pieces of hardware in order to print from your hand-held unit. To activate the Print Through feature:1. Click on the File menu, select Preferences and choose General Options. From this window, enable Comm Port Polling. 2. Make sure your IR link is properly connected. Simply choose the file or screen from your hand-held unit that you wish to print. Select the PRINT option on your hand-held unit.
