Click on the arrow to scroll to the end of the toolbar. Switching Toolbars. The buttons on the Main Toolbar will vary depending on the type of Organizer or K-PDA you specified during installation. If you are using RuppLynx with more than one type of unit, you can switch toolbars by pointing the cursor at the main toolbar, pressing Shift and clicking the right mouse button. Editor Application Windows To launch an Editor Application from the toolbar (I.e. Contacts), simply click on it. The Application Window appears on the desktop with a new toolbar that contains the functions of that application. You can launch multiple applications and have many windows open on the desktop at a time. Once you have launched one application, you must access the main toolbar to open a second application. To switch back and forth from the Application Toolbar to the Main Toolbar, position your mouse pointer over the Toolbar and click the right mouse button. Status Bar When you open an application, the status bar appears at the bottom of the screen. This displays information about the active application, such as record number, total records, tagged status, secret status, location and file name. Task Manager You can launch applications which are not on the main toolbar by using the Task Manager. To do this, position your mouse pointer over an empty desktop area (not in an application window), then click your right mouse button. The Task Manager will be displayed. From here you can pick any available application to launch. For more information on the Task Manager see Chapter 9. Getting Help RuppLynx 3.1 offers very detailed help.
